Promotion Activities of the 134th Canton Fair Successfully Held in Hungary

From September 7 to 10, Mr. Xu Bing, Deputy Director General of China Foreign Trade Centre, led a delegation to the capital of Hungary, Budapest, to promote the Canton Fair. The delegation held talks with Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers and Hungarian-Chinese Chamber of Economy, visited Canton Fair regular buyer Novotrading, and held a promotion conference of the 134th Canton Fair in Budapest. Hungarian business community expressed their intention to promote the Hungarian-Chinese bilateral trade through the Canton Fair. Mr. Liu Bo, Minister Counselor (Economic & Commercial) of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, attended the event.

During the talks, Xu had in-depth discussions with local industrial and commercial institutions on comprehensive cooperation regarding the Canton Fair and China Foreign Trade Centre. At the promotion conference, he introduced the Canton Fair as China’s oldest and largest platform for opening up and international trade cooperation. The 134th Canton Fair will kick off onsite and online on October 15 this year, with a larger exhibition scale, better structure of exhibition sections, higher quality of exhibiting companies, better exhibition services, more optimized International Pavilion, more diversified trade events, and more convenient attendance for buyers. The Hungarian business community should recognize and leverage the value of the Canton Fair, attend and participate in the Fair and make greater contribution to the bilateral trade.
